LTD Commodities has recalled about 6,000 wooden abacuses (sold through LTD Commodities and ABC Distributing catalogs nationwide and their Web sites, www.ltdcommodities.com and www.abcdistributing.com, from December 2006 through February 2008) after discovering that the wooden rods on the abacus can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
