When my best friend gave birth two weeks before her scheduled delivery date, I panicked because I still didn't have a new born baby gift! Here I was, the designated principal godmother-to-be, missing all the fun because I was still searching for creative baby gifts. Initially, I wanted to send flowers but apparently, pollen can be harmful to newborns. I wanted something that had a personal touch and that would be useful for a mom who just came out of the delivery room.
